As a member of the Software Build Team you will be responsible for the continuous improvement, enhancement, and maintenance of the software build processes as well as the build infrastructure. You will be part of our international and highly motivated agile team and in close contact to the development teams. Furthermore, you are responsible to consult with them and implement requirements to the build system. You will act as an innovator, which means that you intrinsically research and introduce new technologies and optimize existing tooling and processes.
Your tasks include:
As a Software Build Engineer you are going to enjoy working on interesting tasks that shape our tooling landscape
Develop, enhance, and maintain software build pipelines and processes
Analyze and implement the requirements of development teams with respect to build processes
Research new technologies and share the knowledge with relevant stakeholders
Exchange and collaborate with other agile teams
Your profile:
Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or work experience in software development
Experience in software build management and tooling
Profound knowledge in some of the areas: version control systems, build automation systems, package management, containerization, shell scripting, compilers, and debugging
You are familiar with tools like Artifactory, Conan, Bazel, CMake, Git, Valgrind
Strong communication skills, passion for software development and innovative spirit
Fluent in English, German is plus
You can confidently grasp complex situations and move in them
